Put simply....I love to sing and to entertain people.
Shows can be a magical way to connect and there is something special about reaching deep inside to touch another human being through song. Whether it's my own original compositions or delivering fresh interpretations of favourite jazz, pop or folk tunes, I'm ready to sing for you. It might be a house concert, an intimate restaurant gig or a bigger event or festival. I work with a variety of great musicians and across a range of genres.

Friends since the tender age of thirteen, Karen Hanna and Mim O'Grady share a love of harmony and the pure joy of singing. With Dave Shannon on double bass we entertain with a repertoire designed to delight.
Based in the beautiful northern rivers, 'Verandah Fridays' are available for house concerts, gigs and performances.

Jazz and Blues
Karen's first love is singing the jazz and blues standards from the American Songbook and those 'feel good' tunes from the 40's through to the 60's. Influenced from an early age by the likes of Ella Fitzgerald and Peggy Lee and growing up listening to Dione Warwick sing Burt Bacharat tunes, Karen's Jazz repertoire and her stable of top class jazz musicians makes this show perfect for any occasion.
